Childhood is full of moments that pass in the blink of an eye - the expressions, the energy, the little quirks that make your child them. My children’s photography sessions are all about capturing those moments in a natural way. 

The sessions are fun, relaxed and led by your child. There’s no posing, no asking them to smile, and absolutely no need for them to be on their best behaviour. In fact, the more they can simply be themselves, the better. 

Parents often worry their children won’t "perform" for the camera - but there’s nothing they need to do. The more relaxed you are, the more relaxed your children will be. When everyone feels at ease, the magic happens naturally.

Tailored for every age

Every stage of childhood is different - and that’s what makes it so special to photograph.

Toddlers

Sessions are playful, relaxed and child-led. We follow their pace, whether that means toddling around the house, playing with favourite toys, or heading outside for fresh air and space to explore. No sitting still required! 

Pre-school & primary age 

At this age, children love to show me their world - games they enjoy, places they love, and all the little things that make them them. These sessions are full of energy, imagination and genuine smiles, with plenty of room for movement and play. 

Older children & teenagers 

Older kids don’t need to "perform" either. Sessions are easy-going and pressure-free, with time to chat, walk, and let moments happen naturally. Even the most camera-shy teenagers relax when there’s no expectation to pose or smile on demand - and the results are beautifully honest portraits they (and you) can actually recognise. 

Where do children’s photography sessions take place? 

Children are at their most relaxed when they’re somewhere familiar or somewhere they love - so sessions take place in locations that feel easy and natural for them. 

• In your family home
  Home can be the perfect place for children’s photography. It’s calm, familiar and full of little details that become incredibly meaningful over time. There’s no rushing or pressure - just space for your child to play, chat, and be themselves.
• Your favourite park or outdoor space
  Parks are wonderful for children of all ages, with plenty of room to run, explore and have fun. If there’s a place you spend lots of time together as a family, it often makes the perfect backdrop for relaxed, joyful photos. 
• A favourite London location 
  For older children and teenagers, a favourite London spot can work beautifully - whether that’s a leafy area, urban streets, or somewhere that feels special to them. 

Wherever we choose, the focus is always on keeping things relaxed and child-led, so your children feel comfortable and the photos feel natural and genuine. 

What you receive after the session 

A week or two after your session, you’ll be invited to view your images in a private online gallery. From there, you can choose how you’d love to enjoy your photographs. 

You’ll have the option to: 

• Purchase digital images to download, share and keep forever 

• Choose from a range of beautiful framed prints for your walls 

• Create a storytelling photo album that your children will love looking back on as they grow 

There’s no pressure and no rush - just time to choose the images that mean the most to you. My aim is for you to come away with photographs that feel like your children, your family, and this very special stage of their lives.
