Family Photography Shoot – Bishops Park – London

Posted by & filed under Families.

Two very lively boys, two loving parents, one grandmother and lots of colourful Autumn leaves. What more could you want for a perfect family photography shoot in Fulham, London?

Well, I certainly needed tons of energy that morning to keep up with these two boys! We had such a fun time running around, climbing trees and playing hide and seek. I like to let the kids do what comes naturally to them so they enjoy the experience. Every so often we managed to add various members of the family, again trying to keep it natural without too many posed shots.

Sometimes the kids need to stop for a rest, but these two youngsters just kept on going. Thankfully they were just as happy playing with their Mum and Dad. This gave me the ideal opportunity to grab some shots of them all together. Hope you enjoy this selection of photos from our morning together.

One of my favourite images of this family photography session is the first one in the blog post. I knew I wanted to use the backdrop of the railings next to the River Thames, with Putney riverside in the background, so I asked the family to sit there and have a rest for a few minutes. I then suggested to the boys that they might like to tickle their parents and the result was the following photo, which shows the fun, loving relationship between the children and their parents.
