Relaxed, Natural Vacation and Holiday Photography
Over the last few years I’ve been spending more and more time as a Vacation Photographer in London. So I finally decided that some of the images deserved their own page! I photograph families and couples who are holiday in London and I enjoy the sessions so much. And the families always seem to love them too! For a few hours they can pop their cameras or phones away and just relax. They can enjoy some precious time with their family and allow me to create a fabulous set of professional photographs for them to treasure forever.
I’ve lived in London my whole life, which means I know pretty much every street in this amazing city. This puts me in a great position to advise families where to have their vacation photography session.
Great locations for London Vacation Photography Sessions
I photograph families from all over the world and many of them want to include some famous London landmarks in the images. This is a great idea and as a documentary family photographer I can do this in a natural way. No need for you to pose and say cheese in front of the London monuments! Instead you can just have fun visiting them, while I capture your London adventure in a series of creative images.
Holiday Photos along the South Bank
A popular area for vacation sessions is the South Bank by the River Thames. Here we can include Westminster Bridge, Big Ben and the London Eye into your family photographs. And wandering further along the River we can also incorporate the Oxo Tower, the Tate Modern, the Millennium Bridge and St. Paul’s Cathedral into the images.
Other vacation shoots start near the iconic Tower Bridge which always looks pretty stunning in photos. From here we can visit the nearby Borough Market and grab a bit to eat if anyone’s hungry!
Family Photographer in Covent Garden or Notting Hill
Another great location for families and couples is Covent Garden. It’s such a fun place to visit, with the Market, cobbled streets and colourful Neals Yard. And then just down the road is Trafalgar Square, where you can take in the sights of the fountains and lions. Or we can visit Notting Hill, with its colourful houses, quirky side streets and the well-known Portobello Road Market
Vacation Photographer in London Parks
If you like your holidays a little quieter, we can have all or part of your vacation photography session in one of the London Parks. The larger London parks are always firm favourites with families on holiday. Or we can visit Battersea Park and include the pretty Albert Bridge in the images. Or maybe the lesser known Holland Park, really worth a visit with its beautiful Japanese Kyoto Garden.
For families who’d like to escape the centre of the city we can take a trip to North London to Hampstead Heath or Alexandra Park. Or maybe we can go to South East London and explore historic Greenwich. The park here has far-reaching views across London which will take your breath away. We can also include the stunning architecture of the Royal Observatory and the Old Royal Naval College into the vacation photographs.
