Autumn Family Photographer

Being an Autumn family photographer is one of my absolute favourite things! It’s such a wonderful time of year for London family photography for so many reasons. The Autumn leaves provide the most beautiful colourful backdrops for family portraits. The light is gorgeous, especially if we’re treated to some low sunshine. And it doesn’t get much cuter than seeing little kids wrapped up in their cosy hats and scarves. All in all, the conditions are perfect for this London family photographer!

Autumn Family Photographer in the park

I met up with this lovely family last year on a really chilly Autumn day. They were about to move out of London and wanted to have some family portraits taken in their local park. This way they would always be reminded of the fun times they had together in their favourite park. The family wrapped up to keep warm and I love how the colours of their clothes matched the carpet of Autumn leaves on the ground. We chose a beautiful spot in the park to take a series of natural family portraits.

After a few smiles at the camera I asked the family to cuddle up close to keep warm. At that moment the big sister decided to plant a huge kiss on her baby brother’s cheek. It was absolutely adorable and luckily I manged to capture it in one of my favourite photos from this Autumn family portrait session. The way the baby boy’s little face is all squidged up and the happy smiles of the parents add to the pure joy of this image.
