Family Photographer London

One of my favourite things about being a family photographer in London is when I get to photograph families more than once. Especially when they’re as lovely as the one in the image below. In this case it had been a few years since our last session and the children had grown up so much. None us could quite believe how quickly time had passed since we’d last met and how much had happened between photoshoots.

After having to postpone the shoot a couple of times over the summer we got a date in our diaries for the beginning of September. I was so looking forward to seeing them again and then I heard that the son had unfortunately broken his arm in a tennis accident about a week before we were due to meet. I was very happy to reschedule the session, but the family were really keen to go ahead. They wanted to do some of their photos on their allotment, which was looking at its best in late summer, so they didn’t want to delay any further.

We met up early one morning in the family’s favourite local park. We wanted to take some natural family portraits there before heading to the allotment. When I saw them all together, I couldn’t believe how well the plaster cast on the son’s arm matched all their outfits! By chance he’d had a new cast put on the previous day and could choose the colour.

I just love this relaxed family portrait of them all together, looking so happy in the warm spring sunshine. If you’d like to book a family photography session and create your very own special portrait in the park please do get in touch. Details can be found here London Family Photographer
