I had a wonderful morning as a Parsons Green family photographer last Autumn. The weather was wonderfully mild, and Parsons Green provided the perfect backdrop for this family photography session.
I knew the family from a local nursery, where I photograph the children every year. And was overjoyed when the mum got in touch to book an Autumn family photoshoot. The three girls were perfect to photograph! They were happy to sit and cuddle on a bench for some natural family portraits. Then they were even happier to run around Parsons Green, while I captured some more candid portraits.
Relaxed family portraits
The family had brought some balloons to play with, which was a great idea. While the children chased them happily around the grass, I got some really relaxed portraits of the whole family.
One of my favourite portraits from this Parsons Green family photography session is the first one in the blog post. The dad in the middle had blown up a balloon and let it go. The balloon flew off to the right of the photo. The two elder girls immediately took chase, while the younger girl and parents looked on happily. It makes for such a joyous photo, everyone completely relaxed, and totally unaware of the camera on them. I enjoyed this family photoshoot so much and was delighted with how much the family loved the photos too.
