As a London family photographer I like to offer variety to my clients. This way each family can choose a photography session that fits their needs perfectly. So I now have four different photography packages. These range from a one hour session to a full eight hour Day in the Life session. To give great value all packages include digital images and either a mounted print or a coffee table book.
Day in the Life Sessions
I was delighted when Yan got in touch earlier in the year to book a photography session. I’d photographed this lovely family once before when they welcomed their first baby boy into the world. They now had another beautiful little baby boy and wanted to book a longer session to document their family life together. So they decided to opt for a half a Day in the Life session. These sessions last four hours and are a great length to capture even more moments that occur in family life.
We decided to have the session in the morning, when the boys would be at their best after a good night’s sleep. So last July I headed to the family’s Ealing home to meet the new addition to the family. The idea of a Day in the Life session is to capture family life as it really happens. We include the laughter, the tears and all the emotions in between. I took lots of lovely relaxed photos around the house of the family playing together and getting ready to go out. It was such a wonderful summer’s day we had decided to do part of the session in the local park, a place the family visit often together.
I really enjoy being outside for family photography sessions and always encourage it, as long as the weather permits. Kids adore the freedom of being outside and being able to run around in the open air. This then makes the images so relaxed, genuine and fun! We had a wonderful time, chatting about how busy life is with two young children and creating some wonderful images that will look perfect in their coffee table book.
We finished this half a Day in the Life photography session back at the family home, where we got even more lovely images of a still very smiley baby and a still very energetic older brother!
