Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Photography

I’m so excited to have been asked to photograph another wedding at Chelsea Old Town Hall. It’s going to take place in May and I can’t wait! As you might have seen in previous blogs it’s one of my absolute favourite London wedding venues. It is completely perfect for a stylish London wedding and I just love everything about Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Photography.

Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Photography – the confetti shot!

It is such an iconic building and set in the heart of Chelsea on the fashionable King’s Road. One of my favourite images at every wedding I’ve photographed there is always the confetti shot. I’m so happy that they allow confetti there! It’s such a wonderful moment when the new Mr and Mrs walk down the steps under a shower of confetti, thrown by happy family and friends. There’s always a great atmosphere there, as passing well-wishers cheer the bride and groom as they step out onto King’s Road.

The inside of the building is fantastic too. There’s a choice of three rooms for the wedding ceremony. The largest is the beautifully elegant Brydon Room, which has space for 38 guests. If you have a smaller guest list then the equally lovely Rosetti Space might suit you, with seats for 12 guests. Or for the most intimate of Chelsea weddings there’s the Harrington Room, which accommodates 8 guests. There really is something to suit all weddings.

After the wedding ceremony it’s time for some wedding portraits of the bride and groom. And the Chelsea streets provide a wonderful backdrop for some creative couple portraits.

The wonderful restaurants of King’s Road – perfect for any wedding reception!

Then it’s party time! And within walking distance of the Chelsea Old Town Hall there are several stylish restaurants. They are all perfect venues for your wedding reception, so take your pick! For the wedding I’m photographing in May the reception is going to be at the Ivy Chelsea Garden. I’ve already photographed one wedding breakfast there and it is simply stunning. The entrance, surrounded by flowers, is a spectacular sight on the King’s Road.

Another fun wedding reception I’ve photographed previously was at the lovely Medlar Restaurant.  And of course, there’s the famous Bluebird Chelsea within walking distance too.

I’m so looking forward to my next Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Photography. If you’re getting married at this stylish wedding venue in 2019 or 2020 and are looking for a photographer, please do get in touch using my contact form.
