{"id":9052,"date":"2019-09-03T12:20:39","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T12:20:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alexakidd-may.com\/blog\/?p=9052"},"modified":"2025-01-04T14:40:18","modified_gmt":"2025-01-04T14:40:18","slug":"chelsea-old-town-hall-wedding-portraits-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alexakidd-may.com\/blog\/index.php\/chelsea-old-town-hall-wedding-portraits-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Portraits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m always happy to get the chance to share some Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding portraits on my blog. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbkc.gov.uk\/venues-in-kensington-and-chelsea\/chelsea-old-town-hall\">Chelsea Old Town Hall<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has to be one of my favourite London wedding venues. Not only is it a\u00a0stunning Victorian building,\u00a0but it is also set\u00a0on the fabulous\u00a0Kings Road in Chelsea. And on top of that it\u2019s not too far from where I live!<\/p>\n<p>To make this wedding day perfect the bride and groom were also delightful to spend time with and photograph! The ceremony inside Chelsea Old Town Hall was beautiful. It\u00a0was so\u00a0moving to watch this lovely\u00a0wedding couple say I do. When the service finished we made our way on to the steps that lead to King\u2019s Road in Chelsea for the iconic confetti photograph.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Chelsea Old Town Hall confetti photograph<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The confetti shot in any wedding is always one of my favourite\u00a0images\u00a0from the day. The wedding couple are so excited to be newlyweds, while the family and guests are happy to be throwing confetti all over them. It\u2019s just such a joyous moment on the wedding day \u2013 one that is a privilege to photograph and freeze in time forever. It makes for a particularly stunning image on the steps of the Chelsea Old Town Hall.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Natural Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Portraits \u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The guests then made their way along the King\u2019s Road to the reception at the <a href=\"https:\/\/theivychelseagarden.com\">Ivy Chelsea Garden<\/a>. This gave me and the\u00a0wedding couple a chance to get some natural wedding portraits around Chelsea. There are some great locations just a couple of minutes\u2019 walk from the Chelsea Old Town Hall, so I knew the couple wouldn\u2019t need to be away from their friends for long. In some of the images I made use of the pink roses in St. Luke&#8217;s Church Gardens. I love a splash of colour in photos! At one point\u00a0I asked the couple to stop briefly in the square opposite the flower-covered Ivy Chelsea Garden. At this exact moment\u00a0a red London bus drove down the King\u2019s Road\u00a0into the image. I couldn&#8217;t have been happier!<\/p>\n<p>I hope you enjoy seeing this selection of Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photos.
