I love the bridal preparations \u2013 there\u2019s always such excitement in the air about the wedding day ahead. The moment the groom first lays eyes on his wife-to-be is incredibly special and quite emotional. The speeches are always entertaining &#8211; full of laughter and occasionally some tears too. And then there are the wedding couple portraits \u2013 a definite highlight of the day for me!<\/p>\n<h2>Choosing the right time for the wedding portraits<\/h2>\n<p>I usually do the bride and groom\u2019s wedding portraits fairly soon after the ceremony and group shots. For me it\u2019s the perfect time, as after the huge build up to the wedding day\u00a0the couple are alone together for the first time as newlyweds. It\u2019s at this very special moment that it sinks in that they are actually married! They are so happy and overwhelmed by their feelings that I barely need to prompt them at all for the photographs. All I do is guide them into lovely light with beautiful backgrounds and we can create some natural relaxed wedding portraits.<\/p>\n<h2>Fulham Palace Wedding Photographer amongst the flowers&#8230;.<\/h2>\n<p>Catherine and Jack were married at All Saints Church in Fulham. After the moving service in this stunning church we did the wedding portraits in the walled garden of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fulhampalace.org\"><strong>Fulham Palace<\/strong><\/a>. Even though their wedding was in October the weather was absolutely glorious. The sun shone and the flowers in Fulham Palace gardens looked wonderful.
