Lucy and Sam were married on a beautifully warm July day at St Mary\u2019s Church in old Amersham. The reception was at the nearby Kings Arms Hotel. This is wonderful venue that has been used for many TV and film productions, including Four Weddings and a Funeral.<\/p>\n<h2>I just love the confetti shots at weddings!<\/h2>\n<p>On this day however there was just one wedding and it was also a classic. It&#8217;s certainly one\u00a0that I will look back on fondly. Lucy was so calm in her preparations, making her a wonderful leading lady. The service was both beautiful and emotional in equal measures. Then it was outside into the glorious sunshine and the confetti shot, one of my favourites from the day. Then we took some beautiful portraits of the newlyweds, around various spots in Amersham.<\/p>\n<p>When we moved on to the reception it was packed full of fun and laughter, just how it should be. The afternoon was\u00a0warm and perfect for drinks on the lawn,\u00a0ideal\u00a0for\u00a0family and friends to catch\u00a0up with each other. Then it was inside for the wedding breakfast and really funny and emotional speeches. There was hardly a dry eye at the top table!<\/p>\n<p>I loved this wedding so much. Everything was perfect from\u00a0the fabulous bride and groom\u00a0to the\u00a0stunningly perfect venue. And with the gorgeous weather we were able to take advantage of the changing light throughout the day, right up until the sunset. Some of my favourite portraits from this wedding\u00a0are the evening ones when the sun is just starting so set. And of course the partying was able to carry on outside well into the night&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of my favourite images from the day, hope you enjoy seeing them.<\/p>\n<p><a
