Wanting to celebrate the moment in a meaningful way, he had secretly arranged a photography session so they could mark the occasion with relaxed, natural photographs of their time together. We began the session at the peaceful and atmospheric\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityoflondon.gov.uk\/things-to-do\/city-gardens\/find-a-garden\/st-dunstan-in-the-east-church-garden\">St Dunstan in the East<\/a>. Tucked between the surrounding city streets, this hidden garden is one of the most unique places for a\u00a0London engagement shoot. The ivy-covered ruins and quiet pathways create a romantic backdrop, perfect for capturing those first moments of excitement after an engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a&nbsp;London engagement photographer, I always aim to keep sessions relaxed and enjoyable. Rather than formal posing, we spent time walking through the garden, chatting and capturing natural moments between the couple as they celebrated their news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Engagement photos in St Dunstan in the East Garden<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The soft greenery climbing over the old stone walls provided a beautiful setting for the first part of the session. The couple were still glowing from the excitement of the proposal, which made the photographs feel particularly genuine and joyful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also spent a few moments capturing some close-up photographs of the engagement ring. The diamond caught the light beautifully, and these small detail images are always a lovely way to remember such an important part of the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Engagement sessions like this often include a mix of wider photographs showing the surroundings, alongside more intimate portraits and details. This balance helps create a gallery that truly reflects the experience of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Riverside Walk to Tower Bridge<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>After exploring the garden, we made our way towards the river and continued the session with a gentle walk along the Thames. London provides so many beautiful backdrops, and simply strolling through the city often leads to the most natural photographs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our walk eventually brought us to the iconic&nbsp;Tower Bridge, where we finished the session with some relaxed portraits overlooking the river. With the bridge rising behind them, it was the perfect way to end their&nbsp;London engagement shoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For couples visiting the city, an engagement session can be a wonderful way to celebrate this special time together while also capturing memories of a London trip.
