So far, this year has been my busiest yet with London vacation photography. And I love every minute of it! The area around Tower Bridge is one of the most requested spots for families visiting the city. And the lovely family featured below wanted to make the most of this iconic location and their session perfectly captures the charm and energy of London. With families on holiday in London, I always enjoy creating natural family portraits that tell a genuine story of connection and adventure.
Natural Family Portraits at Shad Thames
The first few photos below were taken in Shad Thames, one of my favourite areas in London. The cobbled streets, the iron overhead walkways, and the Victorian brick architecture offer a timeless setting for family photos. The family were relaxed and fun, laughing together as they explored the area. And they paused for portraits that felt natural and spontaneous. This location is so full of character and is perfect for those wanting natural family portraits with a touch of London charm.
Tower Bridge Vacation Photography
We captured more family portraits with the famous Tower Bridge in the background. The grandeur of the bridge really does offer the most stunning backdrop to vacation portraits. We also included a classic red London telephone box in some of the family portraits for that unmistakable London feel. And we got some fun individual portraits with the phone box too. Both of the children were delighted to be exploring this iconic feature of London. And nearby, we found a set of brightly coloured patterned walls that added a playful splash of fun to the family’s images.
This was a relaxed and joyful shoot that really reflected the family’s holiday in London.
