This joyful Christmas vacation session took place around Tower Bridge, one of my favourite locations for families visiting London. The family were lovely, and as soon as we met up I knew it was going to be a fun London family photoshoot! We began with portraits of the family in front of Tower Bridge itself. It’s such a magnificent London landmark and always looks stunning in the background. The family were enjoying their holiday in this beautiful city, soaking up the Christmas atmosphere. As a London family photographer, I love how London sparkles at this time of year. It really makes every photo feel extra magical.

The Dickens Inn and a red London phone box!

We explored the area together, finding plenty of festive backdrops for their natural family portraits. In front of The Dickens Inn, we came across a beautiful Christmas tree that added a lovely seasonal touch to the images. The sisters were so happy, laughing with their parents and dancing together. It was wonderful to photograph! We also stopped for some portraits beside a classic red London telephone box. The bright pop of colour fitted perfectly with London’s festive decorations.

London Family Photoshoot at Tower Bridge

After taking more relaxed portraits with Tower Bridge behind them, we crossed the bridge to get to the south side of the river. A red bus whizzing past added a moment of London magic to the vacation portraits. We finished our Tower Bridge family portraits in Shad Thames, one of my favourite streets for family sessions, with its historic cobbled charm. It was the perfect ending to this perfect London family photoshoot at Tower Bridge.
