A trip to London is full of memorable moments, and for many families it’s the perfect opportunity to capture photographs together. These London baby portraits were taken during a relaxed vacation photography session with a lovely family visiting the city with their baby boy. They wanted natural photographs that would always remind them of their time in London. And they were keen to include some of the city’s most iconic landmarks in the background.

We began the session near the famous Tower Bridge, one of the most recognisable locations in the city. It’s a beautiful setting for London baby photography. The early light along the river created a lovely atmosphere while Mum and Dad spent time playing with their baby. Sessions like this are always relaxed and unhurried, allowing families to simply enjoy time together while I capture natural moments as they unfold.

London Baby Photography at Tower Bridge

Tower Bridge is one of my favourite places for London baby portraits, especially for families visiting the city. The riverside paths provide plenty of space for relaxed family photographs, while the bridge itself creates a striking backdrop that instantly places the images in London.

A short walk brought us to The Old Dickens Inn at St Katharine Docks, with its charming balconies and historic character. It’s a lovely hidden corner near Tower Bridge and a wonderful spot for relaxed family photographs. We also included one of the city’s most classic details – a bright red telephone box. These iconic phone boxes are always fun to include in photographs and add a playful London touch to the gallery.

Exploring Shad Thames for Natural Family Photos

After spending time around the docks, we crossed the river and continued the session in Shad Thames. This area is full of character, with its cobbled streets and old warehouse buildings.

The quieter atmosphere here was perfect for some more intimate London baby portraits. Mum and Dad held their baby close while we captured a series of natural family photographs as they walked along the street and paused beneath the historic bridges between the buildings.

Sessions like this are a wonderful way to document a family holiday. London baby photography doesn’t need to be complicated or formal. Sometimes the most meaningful photographs come simply from exploring the city together and capturing those natural moments along the way.
