Welcoming a new baby into the family is one of life’s most special moments, and it’s always a privilege to document those early days. These London baby portraits were taken during a relaxed photography session at the family’s home, just a few days before Christmas. The atmosphere was warm and festive, with the quiet excitement that comes with gathering together as a family at this time of year. As a London baby photographer, many of my sessions take place in the comfort of a family home. Photographing babies in their own environment allows everything to feel natural and unhurried. During this session, the whole family came together to celebrate the newest arrival. Mum and Dad spent time cuddling their baby while we captured some beautiful, gentle portraits. Their older daughter was wonderfully curious about her new sibling and loved being part of the photographs. Natural Baby Portraits at Home

The living room provided a cosy setting for family photographs, while the playroom was a lovely space for images of the older daughter reading and colouring with her parents. 

It was particularly meaningful to photograph four generations together. The baby’s grandparents and great grandfather were visiting, making it a rare opportunity to capture such a special family connection. These intergenerational photographs often become incredibly valuable to families over time.
