I had such a great time on this family photoshoot at Tower Bridge. The lovely family — mum, dad, and daughter — were on holiday in London and wanted to remember this special time with some professional family portraits. Photographing families on vacation is always special. Everyone is relaxed, happy and excited to be exploring a new city. This joy truly shines through in every image from this session.

Natural family portraits at the Tower of London

We began at the historic Tower of London, creating classic London family portraits with the Tower in the background and the iconic Tower Bridge close by. The bridge’s spectacular architecture provided the perfect backdrop to the photos. And the family’s laughter and connection shone through in every shot. Afterwards, we wandered around St Katharine Docks, a hidden London gem. The colourful walls and a bright red telephone box worked beautifully in their natural family portraits. Every corner of this area offers something unique for a London Family Photographer.

Family Photoshoot at Tower Bridge

To finish, we crossed Tower Bridge for a few lively shots. This included a playful “London” moment with a red bus whizzing past in the background. Then we headed to Shad Thames, one of my favourite streets in the city, with its cobbled pathways and historic Victorian warehouses. The family’s daughter couldn’t resist dancing in the street, a moment that perfectly captured the fun and freedom of travel. I was so happy with all the Tower Bridge vacation portraits we got during the session, full of the joy of family adventures together.
