There’s something really special about photographing couples who are simply enjoying time together. As a London couples photographer, I often meet people celebrating a moment in their lives. This lovely pair were doing exactly that.

Their children are grown up now, so this trip to London was just for them. It was a chance to slow down, reconnect, and explore the city side by side. And honestly, that relaxed energy made the whole session feel effortless.

Romantic View by the River

We started near the Houses of Parliament, with Big Ben standing proudly in the background. This area is always a favourite, but on this day it felt even more special.

We took photos in a beautiful garden filled with soft pink roses in bloom. The colours added a romantic feel to the photos. Meanwhile, the iconic London backdrop kept everything feeling timeless.

At first, the couple were a little camera-aware. However, after a few minutes of chatting and walking, they relaxed. Then, the natural smiles started to appear. Those are always the moments worth capturing.

Strolling Across Westminster Bridge

Next, we made our way onto Westminster Bridge. This is one of the best spots in the city for classic London photos. The view of Big Ben from here is hard to beat.

As they walked together, we captured a mix of posed and candid shots. Sometimes they looked out over the river. Other times, they simply laughed and chatted. As a result, the gallery felt varied and full of life.

A Touch of London Energy

Of course, we couldn’t miss a few iconic London moments. So, we included the London Eye in the background for a different perspective.

Then came one of my favourite parts. A classic red London bus passed by at just the right moment. It added movement and energy to the scene. These little details can really bring a photo to life.

What stood out most during this session was how much they enjoyed each other’s company. There was no rush, no pressure, just genuine connection.
