It was such a joy to return to one of my most popular locations for my London vacation photography — I was a Westminster family photographer for the morning! The family were full of energy and laughter — mum, dad, their daughter, and her little brother. They had a wonderful time playing on the grass, which had turned golden-brown from the summer heat. These are the moments I love most as a London family photographer – relaxed, happy and filled with genuine connection. And the magnificent Houses of Parliament were behind them, adding that iconic London touch.

As the sun rose in the sky, we captured some beautiful, natural family portraits in front of the Palace of Westminster. The children enjoyed exploring, running around and playing games while I photographed them. In addition, we made sure to take time for some relaxed family portraits with Big Ben in the background. This area of London provides the perfect setting for London vacation portraits. Every corner of Westminster offers something new — from grand architecture to quieter spaces for natural interactions.

Finally, we created a few playful portraits that truly captured their personalities. I especially loved the moment when the little boy borrowed his mum’s large sunhat – it brought so many smiles!
